Davidson Design for Life is hosting a booth July 7th and 21st. Neighbors can ask questions and voice concerns regarding the health impact assessment being conducted on Davidson's street design standards. A health impact assessment is a study that considers the possible health implications of a decision to be made, and provides information to the decision makers. The findings of this HIA will inform the upcoming rewrite of Davidson's Planning Ordinance, scheduled for next year.
For those who can't make it out to the Davidson Farmer's Market, there will be a public information session on Wednesday, July 25th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss the assessment and gather public input.
