HIA in the News: “Health Impact Assessment Capacity Building Project for North West of England”

"The North West Health Brussels Office will be holding several seminars on health impact assessment as a part of the North West Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Capacity Building Programme.
The North West Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Capacity Building Programme is a two-year programme funded by NHS North West, which commenced in January 2009.
The progamme, a partnership between the North West Public Health Observatory and the International Health Impact Assessment Consortium (IMPACT), aims to increase capacity for HIA and create a culture whereby the potential health effects of activities and policies are routinely and systematically considered by public sector organisations and their partners..."
